Germany’s first robotics-based parcel robot Cleveron 402 was installed in Hamburg, in Zara’s flagship store on the city’s famous shopping street Möckenbergerstrasse. The solution holds up to 700 parcels and acts as the online order pickup point.
The robotics-based solution Cleveron 402 has multiple benefits for retailers and their customers. It acts as a smart storage space and is easy to use for the store associates. The store associate can load the parcels from one user console and quickly, since the Cleveron 402 has the fastest loading in the world, starting from 7 seconds.
Convenience and speed are also the key offerings for the customers. When placing an order online, the customer can choose pickup in the store. When the order is inserted into the Cleveron 402, the customer receives a notification that their order is ready and the order code. When arriving at the Cleveron 402, the customer scans or enters the code and the robot issues the parcels as fast as 15 seconds.
Cleveron 402 is used to issue online orders in the stores by renowned retailers all over the world. Zara has installed the solution in several flagship stores across Europe; the Stratford store in London has two Cleveron 402 parcel robots which together act as the world’s largest robotics-based parcel solution, holding up 2400 parcels. The same solution has been selected as the in-store pickup solution also by Falabella in Chile and Decathlon in Hungary.
