The Estonian Chamber of Commerce handed
out the awards for its annual Competitiveness Ranking on October 3. The largest
number of applicants, 530 to be exact, was nominated in the Industry and Energy
category, in which Cleveron was declared the winner.
The award serves an acknowledgement of hard work for Cleveron. In 2018, we
tripled the size of our development center in Viljandi, expanded the scope of
our cooperation with Walmart and Inditex (Zara) and unveiled our self-driving
robot courier prototype.
In 2019, Cleveron has set its focus mainly on product development, to remain one step ahead of the competition and to offer the most unique solutions on the market. In August, we launched the world’s first grocery robot with two temperature zones, named Cleveron 501. The robot offers an alternative to costly home deliveries and brings grocers closer to consumers.
The Estonian Chamber of Commerce’s Competitiveness Ranking has been compiled since 2003. The ranking is prepared based on the companies’ economic indicators, taking into account the economic activity of the two previous years: sales revenue, net profit, equity, number of employees and labor cost. This year, the rankings were formulated based on the information provided by 1857 companies.
