Tallinn, Estonia, April 21, 2017 - Last night, Edison Awards Steering Committee handed out world-famous innovation awards. Cleveron’s robotic parcel terminal PackRobot was nominated as a finalist at the Transportation & Logistics category. As a result, Cleveron brought home a Bronze award. In fact, Cleveron is the first Estonian company to receive the prestigious award for its unique solution.
The Edison Awards is an annual innovation award handed out to recognize, honor and foster innovation and innovators. Over the years, the Edison Awards have recognized and honored some of the most innovative products and business leaders in the world. This year, fellow awardees included Schneider Electric, HP, 3M, Lenovo and Procter&Gamble.
The awards gala was held in New York City, USA. Cleveron's Head of Design, Lauri Hirvesaar was representing Cleveron at the event. According to Lauri, it was an honor to stand side-by-side with some of the most well-known corporations and compete with them. Receiving a bronze is a win, especially when competitors are major corporations with over 100 times more employees. This award shows that small but passionate companies can compete with business giants. Ultimately, this is a great win for each and every Cleveron team member.
