Title of “Export Deed of the Year” awarded to Cleveron

15.02.2019 | Cleveron

KredEx Credit Insurance awards Cleveron with the title of „Export Deed of the Year“. The award is given for remarkable revenue growth and R&D-based sale of goods from Viljandi to the rest of the world.

The Export Deed of the Year award recognizes successful Estonian companies, who have made a large contribution to the Estonian economy.

Cleveron’s owner Indrek Oolup commented that the award serves as recognition for years’ worth of commitment and dedication. He added that choosing the best options on foreign markets and creating long-term business relationships based on them are a result of continuous and diligent work.

Cleveron’s export activities reached a breakthrough in 2017 when Walmart was signed as a client. By the end of 2018, nearly 700 automated parcel machines were installed all over the states. Walmart’s online shoppers now receive their purchases from parcel robots, which only takes around 20 seconds. A very small amount of time compared to the previous 15-minute average needed to wait in line.

In 2018, co-operation with Inditex, owner of the Zara brand, was expanded. Today, the Cleveron 402 robots have been installed in nine Zara stores all over Europe.

KredEx Credit Insurance recognizes one company or industry each year for increasing export, finding new foreign markets, signing extensive contracts with foreign partners or making an outstanding contribution to the export of Estonian products or know-how to foreign markets. 13 Estonian companies were nominated for the “Export Deed of the Year” award.
