Cleveron 403 parcel robot has been deployed by PostNL, a postal service provider in the Netherlands. The pilot project will take place in a branch of Jumbo Foodmarkt Leidsche Rijn in the city of Utrecht. The Dutch postal company has said that more automated parcel lockers will pop up at PostNL points across the Netherlands in the future. The robotic click & collect solution, installed by Dujardin Remmers, Cleveron's official distributor in the Benelux, marks a new direction of last-mile solutions for PostNL.
Cleveron 403 represents a new generation of automated parcel lockers. PostNL’s customers can pick up their parcels contactless and conveniently, without needing a store associate's assistance. The customer will receive a pickup code with a text or email, scan the code at the Cleveron 403 and get their order in seconds. Customers can also send parcels themselves via the automated parcel locker.
PostNL has said that the new service helps the company better serve their customers, as consumer trends have shown that people want more convenience and speed when picking up their parcels. The Cleveron 403 robotic parcel locker is located in a Jumbo supermarket, so the convenient location is a significant contributor to creating halo sales. Jean-Luc Otten, Business Development Manager at PostNL Retail, said in a statement: "I'm really proud that PostNL is following in the footsteps of some leading retailers by using this great robotic technology to dispense and collect high volumes of parcels."

The automated parcel locker will be installed by Dujardin Remmers, Cleveron's representative in the Benelux region. In addition to sales, Dujardin Remmers offers maintenance and after-sales services for Cleveron's products in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
