Cleveron Achieves ISO 27001 Certification for Information Security Management

Cleveron, a leading last-mile parcel delivery solutions developer and provider, has recently achieved the ISO 27001 certification for information security management. This certification is a significant milestone for Cleveron and demonstrates the company’s commitment to maintaining the highest information security standards.

Organizations worldwide use ISO 27001 standards to establish, organize, implement, monitor, and maintain their information security management systems. By focusing on three main principles: confidentiality, integrity, and availability, the ISO 27001 standard aims to secure people, processes, and technology. As part of the company's strategic plan, Cleveron's board of directors decided in April 2021 to start applying for ISO 27001 certification.

Cleveron CEO Arti Kütt explained why the company decided to apply for ISO 27001 certification. “Cleveron has more than 15 years of experience developing hardware and software. Our clients are globally known retailers and logistic companies. They have high standards, and we want to give them peace of mind by ensuring them that we can provide the best solutions that are trustworthy. ISO 27001 is an information security system framework which shows that well.”

With the achievement of the ISO 27001 certification, Cleveron is taking a major step towards fulfilling this mission. Cleveron underwent a rigorous assessment of its information security management system, including gap analysis, implementation of security controls, and regular internal audits to ensure compliance with the ISO 27001 standard. At the beginning of 2023 external auditors assessed Cleveron’s information security management system and in March 2023 Cleveron achieved the ISO 27001 certificate.
