Cleveron Academy, which provides higher education for young robotics enthusiasts, won the title of Education Deed of the Year at this year’s Teacher of the Year gala. The workplace-based higher education project was launched in cooperation with the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences.
The Ministry of Education and Research recognizes the activities of organizations that have made a significant contribution to the development of learning among Estonian youth within the last three years.
„The Academy creates a strong base for future product developers. The comprehensive opportunities created for students give them valuable practical experience. At the same time, the curriculum requires the development of technical and social skills and creativity. As a technology company, we decided to contribute to teaching young people to become top specialists. This way we can bring added value to the whole company with innovative solutions,” said Arno Kütt, the founder and CEO of Cleveron.
„Cleveron Academy is an excellent example of how entrepreneurship and education work together to teach young people. After the students graduate, they will be familiar with the technologies used in world-class companies,“ stated Ly Hõbe, Rector at the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences.
Cleveron launched Cleveron Academy in 2019 to provide professional higher education for young robotics enthusiasts. The students receive a scholarship from Cleveron that includes the students’ tuition fees, a monthly scholarship, free accommodation, and lunch.
